Press Release USuggest It Intern Jan 2018

Social Media start-up launches a new program for the global community to help students gain experience and develop innovative and problem-solving skills.

Hoboken, January 8, 2018

Employers are combing through applicants’ social media to ensure they demonstrate social responsibility and fit into the corporate culture—and schools and internships are increasingly doing the same. Students and recent graduates who can work collaboratively and constructively now have a way to make sure that’s the first thing a potential employer, school, or internship notices when researching their online presence.

USuggest It is an innovative new social media interface that showcases creative and critical thinkers to potential employers, internships, and schools. Students now have a place to be creative thinkers and problem-solvers in a global community.

USuggest It is building a new kind of social media—one based on innovation, crowdsourcing, and collaborative problem-solving. To model this approach to social media, new users can contribute in several ways: as a Suggester, an Innovator, a Blog Writer, or a Moderator.

“We are very excited to offer students of all ages a new way to become creative an innovative thinkers and doers and showcase their ingenuity on a global stage,” says Louis Corso CEO of USuggest It, Inc. “This is a major step forward for USuggest It and one of the main reasons why we started USuggest It.”

How to start?

Anyone, anywhere in the world, can join this community by making suggestions in the open platform. Suggestions can be about anything—a product, a process, an issue. New users can go to www.usuggestit.com to create a login and password and then make a suggestion any time the inspiration strikes.

Each profile compiles the user’s suggestions as they are moderated, publicly posted, shared, and liked. This builds an online presence that is positive, thoughtful, and constructive in a collaborative atmosphere.

When a Suggester makes 10 suggestions that are publicly posted, and each garners an average of 10 likes within a month, s/he earns the rank of an Innovator, a leader within the USuggest It global community. Innovators will be poised to effect change in many ways—brand and product evolution, technological progression, social impact—depending upon where they focus their ideas.

Interning with USuggest It

Innovators who want to expand their leadership roles can send USuggest It a blog writing sample (personal essay or historical nonfiction) and resume to apply to be a Blog Writer. This is an unpaid internship that can be done from anywhere in the world, expanding the writer’s network and online presence.

We are looking for two types of blog articles: historical suggestion stories and personal inspiration essays. You can find out more about the blog conditions here.

As the company grows and expands, effective Blog Writers will be selected for paid internships as Moderators.

Students and recent graduates have the unique opportunity now to get in on the ground floor of a growing start-up that will change the atmosphere of social media in the coming years.
